I’ve been a bad NEPA bride.
Between the holiday and work and um, Farmville, I haven’t a good blogger. But I’m growing some SWEET flowers and veggies:

We’re in a good place as far as wedding planning goes, which is why I’ve allowed myself some down time to get ready for Christmas, and just goof off. We have:
- Ceremony location
- Reception location
- Photographer
- DJ
- Wedding party
What’s next:
- arrival of engagement photos (and posting of them here!)
- finding a dress
- pinning down solutions for everyone else’s clothes
Is anyone else taking a break from wedding planning for the holidays, or even for their own sanity?

Sanity? What’s that?
It’s good that you’re taking a break–you are so not a bridezilla–which your bridesmaids thank you for.
I felt bad, because between the new job and Christmas prep., I haven’t had time to look at your blog. But now, I don’t feel as bad. Maybe I’ll see you over Christmas break.

lol thank you. I really needed a break. It seems like it’s been a rough time for a lot of us. I wanted to write and I have tons and tons of half finished drafts that I’m playing around with a bit now that I have some time off. I just didn’t have motivation to do much – I didn’t bake cookies, didn’t decorate my desk at work, nada.
I wonder if you’re in now? I should call you, LOL.

Everyone needs a little bit time to relax and take in what you have done and what you need to do for your wedding! It is after all your day. You only get one shot to make it perfect.
Enjoy some time off……….oh…..I love your farm! (it is very addictive, don’t you think?!)
I hope you have a great day.

Hi there Gareth!
Thanks for the comment. I think some brides feel bad opening up and telling everyone that they need a break. Like, we’re still super excited to get married, but after planning a party for over a year, sometimes you need to step back!
Farmville will destroy my life. I love it, but it sooo will, hahaha.
