That's a beautiful dress! I was trying to go that route too, something cheap that they could wear again, but I figured we should at least try some out while we were at David's. They all liked this so much that it was just easiest to say ok and be done. :)

I think I'd like the champagne shawl against that, or white. Something to balance out the black dress!

That dress is adorable, especially in plum.
I ended up picking a non-traditional bridesmaid dress from - guess where - Boscov's! Here's a link to the dress, which we ordered in black:

http://www.overstock.com/Clothing-Shoes/Evan-Picone-Womens-Satin-Waist-Chiffon-Dress/3918166/product.html

We were able to order all of the dresses in different sizes from other Boscov's stores. It was so simple! I love, love, love the dress, and it is flattering on their body types since it's light fabric and A-line. At only $25, I bought an extra one for myself. Don't know where I'll wear it, though. Maybe I'll just wear it to work one day. Or maybe I'll just sleep in it. Haha.

I think the bridesmaids, who are my four sisters, might be able to wear the dress again. Still trying to determine what color shawl to pair with the dress: champagne, white, black, or light emerald. So many choices, so confused!

Yeah, that was my plan too! I encouraged them to try some on since I had 3/4 girls there and see if they could get some ideas, and they just ended up deciding on a dress right away! What other colors are you pairing purple with? I'm all about shades of cream, gray and some black and white.

Beautiful choice.
I'm using purple in my wedding too. I've looked and saw a couple I like but I will most likely give them guidelines and then let them choose.
